I loved this book! It's a fast, riveting read with crisp, visual writing. It's thriller, romance, travelogue. The characters are well drawn and developed, the locations so beautifully described that you are there. It was obviously written by a seasoned sailor, but in clear language that would captivate the land lubber as well. I couldn't put it down, didn't want it to end. I highly recommend Behind the Curve.

You really have a nerve!! Writing a book so darn good it’s caused me to miss some much needed sleep. I really must have been hooked when I decided only 93 more pages to the end of the book, so I can see what happens! Congratulations on your first literary effort. It kept me guessing to the very end.

…captivates the reader from page one…. I …found this book to be a pleasant relief from the "cookie cutter" novels that have recently flooded local bookstores. Highly recommended, a great read, from a new and exciting author!

A great read. I started the book and could not put it down. A new Grisham or Balducci.

Your [writing] got me in one! I always was an Ernest Hemingway fan and I felt intrigued and exhausted reading the… [first] paragraphs in the same way as I recall I did some years back when I read "The Old Man and the Sea " for the first time!

The book was great. It put me right back in Virginia. I started it and couldn't stop. I stayed up until 1:30AM to finish it. [You] write… so well, involving so many people. It was all woven together beautifully.
